Patient Volume: 36,000 • Specialties: 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month (Physicians) 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month (mid-level)Number of Beds: 35 ER bedsAcuity: MediumEMR: Meditech with DragonICU: YesAdmissions/Transfers: 14% admission rate QualificationsLicensure: Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain)Experience: Prior EM experience requiredSkills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility Facility & Clinical Details About Lake Regional Health System: Lake Regional Health System is a 500,000 square foot, 116-bed hospital that is designated by Medicare as a Regional Referral Center. The facility features private patient rooms, a large outpatient department and a 35-bed ED. The ED is a state- designated Level III Trauma Center. The facility also features an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center.
