Mainline Assembler Horton, Inc. has an opening for Mainline Assembler to work in our Britton, SD location. This is a hourly position with a starting wage of $25.76 per hour and depends on experience. Standard hours are Monday - Thursday from 3:30pm - 2:00am, with overtime, as needed, and there is a shift premium of $1.25 per hour for this shift. Mainline Assembler Position Summary: Inspects components, assembles, paints, tests, packages and transports fan clutches and subassemblies to finished goods area. Mainline Assembler Job Responsibilities: Assembles fan clutch units using new parts. Paints product Packages and prepares units/piece parts for shipment to customers. Assembles subassemblies to be packed with finished units. Exhibits and performs basic personal computer functions in various software systems, including but not limited to: Reworks units which fail to pass quality control checks. Provides training in work methods, procedures, and work instructions to employees and temporary workers. Other duties may be assigned to support the overall success of the company. Qualifications Mainline Assembler Qualification: A high school diploma, or equivalent (GED), is desired but not required. Previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Excellent communication and team work skills. Must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided now or in the future for this position.
