Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is opening a new store in Greenvale, NY, and we're looking for a Full-Time Dairy Manager to lead our busy Dairy Department. Key Responsibilities Department Oversight: * Monitor freezer and cooler conditions, ensuring proper temperatures, product placement, rotation, and cleanliness. * Assess department operations and develop strategies for improvement. * Review merchandise handling to boost productivity and maintain high-quality standards. Customer Service: * Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. * Communicate service issues to staff and develop solutions to maintain department excellence. * Ensure staff follow company procedures and uphold quality service standards. Associate Training & Development: * Train staff on job responsibilities, product knowledge, sanitation, and customer service. * Teach department standards, policies, and seasonal sales processes. * Support staff growth and development within the department. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Dairy Manager in a fast-paced retail environment. * Strong knowledge of grocery dairy operations including inventory, stock rotation, shelf life, staffing, training, delegation, and scheduling. * Exceptional management and customer service skills. * Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. * Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking). * Ability to work assigned schedules and adapt to department needs. * Excellent communication and leadership skills.
