These qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.Job Goal:To support the needs of special education students in the educational setting.Specific Responsibilities:Assist classroom teachers with all activities and assignments.Help with the personal hygiene and cleanliness of students in need.Work directly with individual students and/or small groups to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.Assist in performing clerical duties and preparing progress reports as needed.Attend staff meetings related to the special education needs of students.Perform other duties as assigned by the Teacher, Principal, Director of Special Education, or designee.
