Southwest Heritage Bank is committed to providing our employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the care you and your family need to lead healthy, productive lives.The position of Treasury Management Consultant is responsible for the development of new Treasury Management business, the expansion of existing business relationships and the delivery of the Treasury Management services to new and existing customers. This includes the development of new profitable Treasury management relationships and the ongoing consultative support for TM clients. Prepares sales presentations, explains services offered, and recommends services which would benefit clients. This person proactively works with Business Development Officers as well as Branch Personnel to coordinate the sales strategies to support revenue growth and business development efforts. Development of business through calling on all ranges of businesses. May assist with the design of new services and the development of marketing programs.The essential duties included but are not limited to assisting with compliance functions, procedures and monitoring pertaining to the following:Manages all elements of the Treasury Management sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, and close of sale. Perform risk initial underwriting for Treasury products and services and initiate credit and risk approvals.Develops independent channels to prospect for new Treasury Management clients. Manages the process to maintain a pipeline of potential targets. Uses Consultative and Strategic Sales skills to turn prospects into clients. Includes appropriate sales partners. Calls independently or with Commercial Banking Officers on customers and prospects in the assigned territory with a focus on those with extensive, complex and/or multi-national treasury management requirements. Designs customer-centric treasury management solutions and provides consultative expertise. Develop treasury management sales proposals and pricing proformas for prospective and existing clients to further develop and strengthen business relationships. Serve as the primary contact for treasury management services.Conduct regular reviews with top-tier clients to assess needs and recommend enhancements.Maintain deep knowledge of treasury products such as ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, fraud prevention tools, and liquidity management.Oversee the implementation and onboarding of treasury services for new clients. Retains and grows customer portfolio with a program of service review, regular calling, and industry training. Conduct annual cash management reviews for top-tier commercial clients.Analyze bank and account analysis statements and perform cash flow analysis. Support of other bank officers with customers, prospecting, proposals, and referrals Serve as the internal Bank expert for treasury management products and services, delivers internal cash management presentations, and actively participates in sales meetings. Work closely with commercial Banking Officers and retail staff in the understanding of treasury management products along with the calling efforts to commercial customers as it is related to Treasury Management products and services. Prepare contracts and implementation documentation, in accordance with all account opening, account ownership verification and cash management services set-up processes; reviews and checks documents for completeness, accuracy and conformance with applicable rules/regulations and procedural requirements.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceWork related experience must consist of Treasury Management services including implementation, product knowledge, in-depth specialty software knowledge, and experience in the financial services industry. 3 - 5 years' experience in Treasury Management Sales Work-related experience should consist of a financial institution loan operations and/or insurance background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Knowledge & Communication SkillsKnowledge in all facets of Treasury Management to include thorough understanding of the computer Treasury Management software.Advanced experience, knowledge and training in branch operation activities, terminology and products and services.Advanced experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.Possess effective communication skills and written communication skills including good presentation and partnering stills and the ability to deal with complex commercial clientThorough knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and team members.Advance experience, knowledge and training in all lending activities and terminology.Outstanding interpersonal skills. Analytical & Decision-Making Skills Demonstrate analytical skills-ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem. Attention to detail and follow through.Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; and word processing, spreadsheet and account opening software programs.Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.Effective organizational and time management skills.Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties. Computer/Software/Other Equipment SkillsBasic knowledge of Office365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
