Content Author6-month contractRemote roleABOUT THE ROLEOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Web Content Author to join their marketing department. In this operational role, you will execute web content updates and strategies developed by cross-functional partners, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines, design system standards, and accessibility requirements. You will be responsible for selecting and editing templates and components, managing digital assets, and performing thorough quality assurance checks. The ideal candidate will have a background in Marketing, Business, Communication, Web Development, or a related field, and experience with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites. This position requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Additional duties include supporting the development of new website functionality, providing documentation and training for peers, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.WHAT YOU'LL DOWork within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites to select and edit appropriate templates, components, and modules to compose and publish web content based on brand guidelines and stakeholder inputAdd, edit, and optimize content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) for both domestic and international sites, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics and accessibility standardsExecute timely and thorough quality assurance (QA) of your own and other content authors' work to ensure the highest quality content reaches the live siteCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, brand experience, and marketing partners, to align on strategies, meet deadlines, and increase productivityWork within the company's Design System to ensure content consistency with brand and accessibility standardsCustomize and edit content for various brands and international markets as neededManage digital assets and images within Adobe Digital Asset Manager, create experience fragments, and develop workflows as requiredSupport the development and implementation of new website functionality and AEM/Design System componentsProvide detailed authoring documentation and training for peers and content authorsDirect and build relationships with internal and external production and execution partnersInitiate collaboration across teams to align on expectations, meet deadlines, and drive project successAssist with additional projects and tasks as required by the marketing departmentWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Communication, Web Development, or a related fieldExperience working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites or similar content management platformsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality; experience with QA or UAT is a plusFamiliarity with accessibility best practices and web design standardsKnowledge of web design and basic HTML/CSS is a plusProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesHighly organized, attentive, and accountable for delivering high-quality workStrong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project needsDisclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
