HE Operator - Environmental & RemediationWestern North Dakota (Tioga / Watford City)Full-Time | Hourly | 40-60 HRS/WEEK | Overtime ExpectedWhat You'll DoSafely operate a backhoe on environmental remediation and oilfield projectsOperate dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, skid steers & morePerform trenching, precision excavation, grading, and backfill operationsExcavate around utilities, pipelines, and existing infrastructureMaintain proper trench depth, slope, and compactionLoad trucks and move material as neededConduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenanceWork closely with field crews to meet production and safety goalsTravel to project sites across Western North DakotaWork outdoors daily in heat, cold, wind, mud, snow, and uneven terrainAssist with ground labor when requiredThis is labor-intensive outdoor field work in active industrial environments. This is not a light-duty or indoor position.Experience & Qualifications3+ years of backhoe operating experience requiredExperience working around utilities, pipelines, or environmental excavation sitesAbility to read grade stakes and follow site plans accuratelyKnowledge of trench safety and excavation best practicesMust stay alert and aware of surroundings at all timesMust recognize hazards and operate safely at all timesMust pay attention to surroundings and work safelyMust stay focused and aware of people, equipment, and jobsite hazardsMust maintain constant awareness to prevent accidentsValid driver's license with acceptable 5-year MVRReliable transportation to report to the Tioga or Watford City officeWillingness to work overtime (40-60 hours per week typical)Ability to pass drug (urine) and alcohol (breath) screeningOSHA 10, OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, PEC Safeland, or CDL preferred.
