General Summary: Under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, the Logistics Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of logistics, supply, and asset management functions for the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation Department of Public Safety ( DPS). The position ensures operational readiness, fiscal accountability, and compliance with tribal procurement policies, grant requirements, and audit standards across all DPS divisions, within the Nation' s jurisdiction including Indian Country as defined in 18 U. S. C. § 1151. This is a non- sworn civilian position focused on administrative, logistical, and compliance functions in support of public safety operations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics operations for DPS, including procurement, inventory control, issuance, and replacement of equipment, uniforms, and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory systems and asset tracking for departmental property. Ensure accountability and documentation for issued equipment and supplies, including onboarding and separation processes. Coordinate purchasing requests, vendor interactions, and delivery schedules in compliance with tribal procurement policies. Support budget development, expenditure tracking, and resource planning related to logistics and supplies. Ensure compliance with grant conditions, audit requirements, and reporting obligations related to equipment and assets. Conduct or support periodic inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations. Track and document grant- funded equipment and assist with required reporting. Coordinate with Fleet, Records, Property& Evidence, and other administrative staff to support DPS operations. Provide guidance and training to DPS personnel regarding equipment accountability and logistics procedures. Perform other administrative or logistical duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Education: Associate' s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Experience: Three ( 3) years of experience in logistics, inventory management, procurement, administrative operations, or a related field. Special Skills: Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, procurement processes, and asset accountability. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Familiarity with compliance- driven or audit- focused environments. Strong organizational, communication, and problem- solving skills. Preferred Requirements: Education: Coursework or training in office administration or related field. Experience: Prior clerical or administrative experience in a public safety, governmental, or tribal organization. Special skills: Experience working in a governmental, tribal, or public safety environment. Experience supporting grant- funded or DOJ- funded programs. Familiarity with financial, purchasing, or inventory management systems. Experience coordinating logistics across multiple departments or divisions. Valid Oklahoma Driver' s License required?
