The Village of Lake Zurich is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and service-driven professional to join our team as a Management Analyst. This role is ideal for someone interested in public service, civic engagement, communications, and gaining hands-on experience in municipal government operations. The Management Analyst provides executive-level administrative and operational support to the Village Manager, Mayor, Village Clerk and Department Heads. The position is a member of the Village's leadership team, supporting essential governance functions and ensuring compliance with open government requirements. Key responsibilities include: Conduct research and analysis to improve Village operations, programs, and policies.Manage public records and support transparency through FOIA and OMA compliance.Act as the Deputy Village Clerk, managing ordinances, resolutions, agreements, and official municipal records. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and manage Village meeting calendar Enhance resident communication through newsletters, website updates, and social media.Assist with public inquiries and deliver excellent customer service. Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Public Administration or related field, Master's Degree preferredOne to three years of relevant work experience in a municipal government or similar administrative role. Excellent communication, organizational, research and analytical skills. Compensation: $60,775- $74,419 DOQ.
