Colwen Hotels is looking for a dynamic and people-focused Area Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. Based in our Andover, MA corporate office, this role will serve as a key HR partner to multiple hotels, providing leadership and support in talent acquisition, associate engagement, employee relations, compliance, and leadership development.Reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Human Resources, this position will partner closely with General Managers and hotel leadership teams across assigned properties, serving as a key advisor on all human resources matters while helping drive talent strategy, operational excellence, and a positive associate experience.This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-unit hospitality environment, partnering closely with operational leaders, and making a meaningful impact on associate engagement, talent development, and organizational performance. Regular travel and on-site property visits are an important component of this role to ensure strong HR partnership and support across the hotels.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningPartner with hotel leadership to attract, recruit, and onboard top hospitality talentSupport full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and selectionAssist properties with workforce planning and succession developmentAssociate Relations & EngagementServe as a primary HR resource for hotel associates and managersProvide guidance on associate relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolutionSupport initiatives that enhance associate engagement, retention, and workplace cultureBenefits & HR AdministrationAssist associates and managers with benefits education and enrollment supportPartner with corporate HR to ensure proper administration of benefit programsEnsure accurate HR documentation and record managementCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupport HR audits, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance initiativesGuide leadership teams on wage/hour practices, employee relations, and workplace policiesTraining & DevelopmentDeliver and support leadership training programs and professional development initiativesPartner with hotel leadership to identify training opportunities that strengthen operational performanceSupport onboarding and development programs for managers and supervisorsQualifications3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in hospitality or a multi-unit environmentStrong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and associate relations managementProven ability to build relationships and influence leaders at multiple levelsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility and willingness to travel regularly to assigned hotel propertiesBilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferredCompensationSalary Range: $80,000 - $90,000Why Join Colwen Hotels?Colwen Hotels is a privately owned hospitality company built on hard work, integrity, and authentic leadership.
