Job responsibilities include but not limited to:Providing accounting support for the North America Parts & Service MOPAR business, including the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of transactions recordedReview and manage the monthly accounting activities performed by accounting staff & contract personnelManage general ledger account management and month-end closing responsibilities, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysisEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting policies under IFRSReview MOPAR related contracts for accounting complexity and accuracy and provide guidance on treatment for complex accounting topicsPrimary point of contact for external and internal auditsManage the financial statement preparation and reporting for the MOPAR service contracts entity and the MOPAR extended vehicle protection entityManage the financial statement load for the MOPAR international service contract entityLead the development and monitoring of internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliance within MOPARBuild and maintain strong working relationships with the various finance groups, as well as operating departments within MOPARDrive continuous improvement process redesign initiatives throughout MOPARAdditional project support as necessaryBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degreeMinimum 8 years of professional accounting experiencePreferred Qualifications:CPA designation preferredPublic Accounting experience preferredMBA preferred
