Role: Senior Project Manager Location: 100% Remote Employment Type: ContractPreferred Experience: Previous experience working with Cardinal Health Experience Level: 15+ YearsJob Summary We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience managing enterprise-level programs within Healthcare, Pharma, or Medical Supply environments. Candidates with prior experience at Cardinal Health or similar healthcare distribution organizations are highly preferred. This role involves end-to-end project delivery, cross-functional coordination, vendor management, and working closely with business & technical stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.Key Responsibilities Lead large-scale strategic IT and Business transformation projects. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, communication plans, and status reporting. Work with business owners, SMEs, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment. Drive risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes. Manage budgets, resource planning, procurement coordination, and forecasting. Facilitate executive-level communication and stakeholder updates. Ensure compliance with healthcare, data security, and governance standards. Required Experience & Skills 15+ years of overall IT experience 8-10+ Years of experience in Project/Program Management. Experience working with or for Cardinal Health (preferred) - or other major healthcare supply chain / distribution firms (e.g., McKesson, AmerisourceBergen, Medline). Proven ability to manage multi-workstream or enterprise-wide initiatives. Strong experience working in cross-functional, matrixed corporate environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors and third-party solution providers. Excellent documentation, governance, planning, and communication skills. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. PMP or SAFe certification is a plus (not mandatory).
