The company develops sophisticated CNC systems for sectors including aerospace and defense and is growing its engineering and operations teams in response to increasing demand.Job DescriptionSupport daily production operations for CNC machining centers and CNC assembly processes.Develop and refine CNC programming, tooling, fixturing, routings, and assembly processes.Lead lean initiatives, continuous improvement activities, and standardization efforts to align with ISO 9001.Design testing methods, evaluate process capability, and help establish product and process standards.Analyze and improve manufacturing processes by conducting research, evaluating designs, and collaborating with equipment vendors and operators.Lead production improvements and cost-reduction initiatives using lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, DMAIC, and material-flow optimization.Support new product introduction, coordinating handoff from Product Engineering to Manufacturing.Drive engineering change implementation across engineering, assembly, and quality teams.Improve workflow efficiency through layout planning, equipment evaluation, and process modifications.Maintain process documentation and databases, including writing or updating programs as needed.Train and guide technicians during design, development, or process rollout activities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
