Duties & Responsibilities 1. Coordinate with Division Chairpersons/Course Coordinators to ensure timely adoption and integration of course materials, digital textbooks, and learning tools into the LMS. 2. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support related to course access, digital resources, and instructional materials. 3. Monitor course readiness each term and confirm that required resources are available and accessible to students. 4. Train faculty and staff on the use of relevant learning technologies and digital resources. 5. Monitor system performance and user issues and work with IT to escalate and resolve technical issues beyond the scope of the role. 6. Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software and other related resources of the computer laboratory at the Information Commons. 7. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of staff and student records. 8. Provide frontline technical assistance to students and faculty using computer lab equipment, software, and online tools. 9. Prepare routine, special and ancillary reports as required. 10. Perform other related duties as required. Additional RequirementsMinimum Qualifications Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities Bachelor's degree. Experience working in and providing technical support in an academic or similar environment. Proficiency with learning management systems (Moodle) and instructional technologies. Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware and the various Windows and Apple IOS operating system platforms. Strong trouble shooting skills with hardware, and network connectivity issues. Working knowledge of computer software applications, preferably the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize assignments and to always exercise good judgment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree Licenses and Certifications (including e.g., CPR, first aid, driver's license, etc.)Preferred Qualifications Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field. Familiarity with digital course materials, OER, publisher platforms, and accessibility standards. Experience providing computer lab and/or telephone technical customer service and/or field support. in an information technology or instructional technology environment, preferably in higher education Demonstrated ability to provide in-service training seminars, workshops and/or other related training activities. Demonstrated ability to execute training models for the training of support personnel.
