RENK America is driven by this sense of pride and purpose in our country and our community.DescriptionJob Description: The Production Planner/Expeditor will have a focus on future production, review inventory, and ensure supply is available to support production and spares schedules. The selected candidate will coordinate with procurement team and ensure parts will be available for production. This position will look 60+ days ahead during forecasting and also support and lead near-term issues. The individual will also be responsible for coordination with production supervisors during morning and afternoon production meetings discussing part status. Essential Functions: Communication across multiple functions to resolve part availability issues. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address any issues or changes in demand. Communication with production teams to plan build schedules. Ability to summarize data from a report and gain status of most critical items. Coordinate with supply chain and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock audits to minimize shortages and excess. Analyze production data and adjust plans as needed to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to resolve any material-related issues. Prepare reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics. Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes and material handling procedures. Position RequirementsQualifications: Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field with 6+ years experience. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field with 2+ years experience. Minimum education and years of experience requirements are not to be used exclusive of other leveling factors. Substitution of additional relevant education and experience for stated qualifications may be considered.
