Job descriptionWE ARE HIRING! Kemna Quick Lane Service TechnicianAs a quick service lube technician, the quality and efficiency of your work speaks volumes to the thousands of customers we serve. It's your responsibility for quickly, and accurately inspecting vehicles and thoroughly performing maintenance and services. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, and ensure customers receive consistent, timely and accurate service.Benefits:Aggressive, competitive weekly pay401k plans with company matching program for most full-time team membersHealth care - medical, dental and vision insurance plansLife Insurance, short-term and long-term disability plansPaid holidaysVacationEmployee discounts on service and carsPaid training and educational career path tool to assist in career developmentEmployee referral program with bonus opportunitiesJob Responsibilities:Perform multi-point inspectionsCommunicate additional service/repair needs to service advisersService universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease gunsInspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shacklesCheck tire pressureLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsDrain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oilAdd water to radiator and batteryReplace oil and air filtersInspect all vehicles for additional repairsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conductFollow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicalsJob Requirements:Must be able to manage in a fast-paced work environment with limited supervisionMust have effective communication and interpersonal skillsPositive, friendly attitude, along with a high customer service mentalityAbility to read/comprehend written instructions and informationFamiliarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenanceMust have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissionsPrior experience as a technician's helper or apprentice preferredAll applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:Occasional exposure to inclement weatherAbility to operate various makes and models as well as automatic and standard transmission automobilesProlonged periods of standing, stooping and bendingExerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceOpportunities for advancementPaid time offStore discountVision insurance
