On-Board PMO is hiring Full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Dayton, OH! Position Details: Position Type: Full-time Job Location: Dayton, OH Shift: 1st Shift Benefits: Full Benefits Package (after probationary period), 10 Paid Holidays offered after 90 days Compensation: $21/HR Basic Function : The Shipping Clerk II role is to provide support with the Shipping processes with a primary focus on SAP, Traksys, and web-based shipment notifications. As needed, Shipping Clerk II will support pick and pack functions, as well as labeling and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities : Include the following (other duties may be assigned). Identify SAP and Traksys transactions. Navigate customer web portal(s) to provide advanced shipping notifications. Provide accurate pick/pack activities Stage product appropriately through the shipping process Essential Skills/Abilities: Navigation through and usage of SAP/Traksys computer system (including end-of-day shipment processing) Good computer skills, to include email and web browsing. Organization of work area to prevent cross contamination (FOD) Accurate accounting – physical counting and records People skills – respect, courtesy, affability Maintain pace of workflow. Clear and appropriate communication with peers and supervisors Heat sealing operation. Packaging machine operation and use Perform direct labor operation and carryout special tasks when assigned. Train fellow associates when instructed. Compliance with site safety and conduct requirements and with a strict adherence to Client Core Values Organization Relationships: Work closely with Shipping Leader, Warehouse Operators and Quality Assurance personnel as needed to execute assigned tasks. Physical Requirements: The following requirements are to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds/55 max. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must clear all prescreen qualifications (Background, Physical, Drug Screen and Vision test) prior to being hired. Skills Required: Computer skills (email, portal, & web base, ability to count accurately, 1-3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving, organizational skills, and personal skills. Work Monday – Friday 7 am- 3:30 pm and ability to work overtime as needed.
