Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $53.00 to $63.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Oversee all cost accounting activities including standard cost development, inventory valuation, and variance analysisBuild and continuously improve cost accounting systems and processes within NetSuite ERPAnalyze manufacturing and operational costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support product costing and margin analysisManage month-end and year-end close processes related to inventory and cost accounting Requirements: 5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environmentsApply advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets and support financial reportingUnderstand GAAP principles, inventory accounting, and cost analysis techniquesCommunicate effectively across departments and contribute to cross-functional initiativesWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferredBring experience with NetSuite ERP, including implementation or optimization of cost accounting modulesPrefer experience with multi-location operations and complex manufacturing processesUtilize business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or NetSuite SuiteAnalytics (preferred)Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills in managing cost accounting functions REF#51186 #LI-DD1
