Job Summary: The Medical Clinic Office Manager oversees the daily administrative and operational functions of the clinic to ensure efficient workflows, high-quality patient service, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role manages staff, coordinates clinic operations, and supports providers in delivering exceptional patient care.Reports To: Director, Outpatient ServicesSalary Range: $53,800 - $89,750 (salary range is intentionally broad as pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience and eligibility for bonuses)Essential Job FunctionsManage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flowSupervise administrative and clinical support staff, including hiring, training, and performance managementAssist with billing, coding, insurance verification, and revenue cycle processesEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulationsDevelop and implement office policies, procedures, and workflow improvementsMonitor clinic budgets, expenses, and operational performance metricsServe as a point of contact for patient concerns, resolving issues professionally and efficientlyCoordinate with providers to support clinical operations and patient care deliveryAdditional DutiesManage vendor relationships, contracts, and medical office suppliesPrepare reports for leadership on clinic performance and staffingSupport quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiativesAssist with accreditation, audits, and inspectionsParticipate in leadership meetings and organizational planningPerform other duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferredExperience: 3-5 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare settingPrior supervisory or management experience requiredExperience with EHR systems, medical billing, and insurance processes preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to use computers, phones, and standard office equipmentOccasional lifting of up to 25 poundsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environmentWorking Conditions/Environmental ExposuresEnvironmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, radiation, and/or radioactive materials and/or radioactive waste, proximity to moving mechanical parts.
