This position plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the department's financial and administrative operations.The primary purpose of this position is to plan, lead, manage, and direct all financial and budgetary functions for the Department of Social Services. Responsibilities include overseeing both short-term and long-term financial planning, ensuring fiscal accountability, and supporting the department's mission through sound financial management.Under the direction of the Social Services Director, the Business Officer I is responsible for the development, research, and preparation of the department's annual budget.
