Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk Location: New Hartford, NY Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour Overview We are seeking an energetic and resourceful Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support time-critical shipping and receiving operations. This role is responsible for ensuring customer products, systems, and materials are shipped and received accurately while supporting production needs. The ideal candidate will assist with stockroom activities, inventory control, and documentation, and will have an understanding of import/export requirements and electronic shipping systems. Responsibilities Ship and receive all goods using Epicor and supplemental systems on a daily basis Review, maintain, and ensure accuracy of all shipping documentation and distribute to appropriate departments Verify receiving documentation and ensure materials are delivered to the stockroom or requesting individuals Communicate daily with internal departments regarding receipts and shipments Maintain a clean, organized, and secure shipping/receiving area Receive customer-supplied materials into a secure area in accordance with GMP guidelines Issue customer materials to production jobs and perform routine cycle counts Partner with production and quality teams to ensure customer products are packaged and shipped per specifications, including required documentation Coordinate staffing and resources during heavy shipping periods with operations Facilitate receipt and distribution of vaporous materials in accordance with established procedures Cross-train and provide backup support for stockroom staff on off shifts Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role Experience with export regulations required Working knowledge of production job application and material management Prior experience in an ERP/MRP environment required DOT Hazardous Materials Certification (CFR 49 Parts 100-185) preferred Work Authorization For temporary, temp-to-hire, and full-time positions, visa sponsorship is not available.
