Psychiatrist (MD or DO) Med-Care Providers is a trusted healthcare organization serving the Las Vegas community with home-based and telemedicine services. We provide primary care, mental health, and specialty services to adults and seniors, focusing on compassionate care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. We are seeking a Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to provide diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and therapy support for adult and geriatric patients. The position offers the flexibility of telehealth and in-home visits, with support from a skilled multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new and existing patients Diagnose and treat mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and insomnia Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as clinically indicated Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans Collaborate closely with home health nurses, therapists, and primary care providers to ensure integrated patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of Nevada Experience or interest in geriatric psychiatry, home-based care, or telepsychiatry preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to patient-centered and culturally sensitive care Work schedule: Flexible scheduling options are available, including full-time, part-time, and hybrid models (telehealth + home visits).
