Job Description

Job Purpose Effectively manage all aspects of the parts department warehouse and storage. Delivery of parts to customers as needed. Ensure timely handling of all incoming and outgoing parts and accessories. Promote BMW standards for superior customer, employee, and BMW Center. Primary Responsibilities Cooperate with and assist BMW center personnel in the preparation of orders for delivery or by performing other job-related tasks as assigned by supervision. Comprehend the Quality Management System (QMS) by acknowledging and understanding of all processes pertaining to the position and willing to fulfill the standards set forth. Effectively manage all aspects of the parts department warehouse and storage. Generate goodwill by greeting and serving every customer courteously and promptly including via telephone when appropriate. Assist all internal customers by maintaining a clean, efficient, and accurate inventory. Help promote the sales of appropriate parts and accessories by keeping the inventory organized and neat. Use parts equipment and information resources to accurately identify parts. Help parts department achieve sales goals by timely processing of orders. Handle orders and requests for information efficiently. Minimize damage and insure security of warehouse area. Accurately process incoming and outgoing orders. Assist parts delivery driver with outgoing orders. Maintain accurate sales and inventory records of all line items. Upgrade knowledge of BMW products and services by training on-the-job and participating in educational and development programs.
