You will manage 3 active heavy civil highway and road construction projects in Fairfield County, with project values ranging from $1M-$9M. This role oversees projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus program Company vehicle provided Company cell phone provided Company laptop provided Medical, dental, and vision insurance Opportunities for growth and advancement within a growing firmYour Projects 3 active heavy civil highway and road construction projects in Fairfield County, CT Project values ranging from $1 million to $9 million Strong pipeline of upcoming work providing long-term job security Work on infrastructure projects that directly impact the local communityKey Responsibilities Manage multiple heavy civil and highway projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field crews Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance Monitor project costs and prepare budget forecasts and financial reports Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality control, and progress milestones are met Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with all CTDOT, municipal, and OSHA safety regulationsRequired Qualifications 3 to 7 or more years of construction project management experience Background in heavy civil, highway, or road construction strongly preferred Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and scheduling Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field operations Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Knowledge of Connecticut local permitting, DOT regulations, and municipal requirements OSHA 10 or 30 certification Familiarity with the Fairfield County market and local subcontractor baseAbout The CompanyWell-established construction firm based in Stamford, CT specializing in sitework, heavy civil, and highway construction throughout Connecticut.
