Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counter Balance) Location: Federal Way, WA (S 344th St and 9th Ave S) Pay: $23 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Job Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent (based on performance and attendance review) NOTE: This job is in Federal Way, WA and requires to reach on time to work without fail. You must be proficient in using the computer and understand the cycle counts and units Job Summary MGR Workforce is hiring an experienced Counter Balance Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in Federal Way, WA for a Client. This is a family owned business and a distribution warehouse which deals with Warehouse Packaging supplies and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working both on and off the forklift and takes pride in keeping operations safe, accurate, and organized. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance and business needs, with the decision made by HR. Responsibilities Operate a counter balance forklift safely to load, unload, move, and stage materials Transport pallets and products within the warehouse and yard as needed Assist with receiving and shipping, including verifying quantities and product condition Perform manual warehouse work such as picking, packing, palletizing, and wrapping loads Stack and store materials in designated locations following safety guidelines Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all warehouse safety rules and company procedures Support general warehouse tasks as assigned Requirements Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience operating a counter balance forklift in a warehouse environment Strong understanding of warehouse operations and forklift safety practices Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Must be comfortable performing manual labor when not operating the forklift Forklift certification preferred; hands-on experience required.
