JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Simpsonville, SC Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: 06/01/2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7a 5p) or 5 x 8-hour shifts (7a 3p) On-Call Shift Schedule: Weekday home call 3p 7a; 24-hour weekend call Call Type: Home Call Call Ratio: Approximately once every 12 weeks Call Response Time: 3045 minutes COVERAGE DATES Ongoing coverage beginning June 1, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults (approximately ages 15100) Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 200 cases Case Mix: General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Orthopedics and other routine anesthesia cases FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment Specialty Backup Available: Surgical and hospital specialty support teams Support Staff Available: One Anesthesia Technician Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage to maintain anesthesia staffing schedule PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: No Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 4 months with active SC license; 56 months
