Meat & Seafood Counter AttendantWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented counter attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.Key Responsibilities:- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to store standards and customer requests- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including refrigeration units and workstations- Ensure all meat products are properly labeled, priced, and stocked- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering questions- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for stock replenishment- Adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards at all timesSkills and Qualifications:- Previous experience in a meat department or similar food service role preferred- Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and safety standards- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items- Must be at least 18 years oldJoin our team and be part of a company that values quality, teamwork, and growth.
