Job Description

Position Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid 23 days onsite per week) Position Status: Long-Term Contract Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-impact technology initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who combines strong project leadership with hands-on technical understanding to guide projects from concept through deployment. The Technical Project Manager will partner closely with engineering teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to drive Agile delivery, ensure technical feasibility, and maintain alignment with strategic objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative initiatives while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end delivery of technical and software-driven projects Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business and technology objectives Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, backlogs, and resource allocation strategies Lead Agile ceremonies and support iterative development and continuous delivery practices Collaborate with engineers, developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies as needed Ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and quality expectations Manage timelines, scope, and budgets to ensure successful on-time delivery Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders Oversee testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements Required Skills & Education: Proven experience managing complex technical or software development projects Strong background working in Agile/Scrum environments Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing frameworks Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firmwe are a trusted career partner.
