Past experience with processing of loan or claims as well as case management skills will provide you with the skills required to be successful in this role. Medicaid training is provided. Manage the application process for Long Term Care Medicaid benefits, working with residents, their families, and caregivers to facilitate timely and accurate submission of the Medicaid application. As a Customer Service Processor, you will have tons of growth opportunities as you advise others, aiming to offer innovative solutions regarding Medicaid coverage. The Medicaid Processor functions are: Working remotely with patients, their families, and caregivers to gather state-required documents, examining income and assets and following other qualifying guidelines to ensure the timely and accurate submission of the Medicaid application to the state for approval. Managing intake, document review, and filing Medicaid applications. Daily management of file caseload with absolute accuracy and discretion in handling confidential matters and materials. MDR's goal is to process applications quickly, in accordance with the current applicable state requirements, and timelines. For a Processor to be successful a good relationship with the state caseworker, clients, and other team members of MDR are key. The position is 100% Onsite located in the Clearwater, FL office and the Medicaid Processor will spend 100% of their time on the computer/telephone. What's In It For You? Ability to interpret policy and procedures and apply to case files. Proven ability to appropriately use MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Prior experience in CRM Software is a plus. Must be able to multi-task; highly organized, have a keen sense of urgency to complete files accurately and timely, ability to manage a high volume of client files. Strong customer service skills utilizing telephonic and/or electronic outreach; ability to listen and understand client needs throughout the application process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to obtain necessary documentation needed for the application approval. Ability to analyze and interpret policies and procedures, define problems, research solutions and complete tasks. Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive materials is imperative. Strong typing and computer skills (proven proficiency in Microsoft Office).
