Staff MRI Technologist Job location: Chambersburg, PA Job type: Full-time / Permanent Shift: Days Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff MRI Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will utilize our state-of-the-art GE Voyager MRI system equipped with the latest DI software to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. You'll play a key part in supporting accurate diagnoses and effective patient care by producing precise images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Operate our state-of-the-art GE Voyager MRI, adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluations. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology. Qualifications: Certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of medical imaging practices. Experience in a clinical setting performing diagnostic evaluations using MRI technology. Proficiency in aseptic technique and understanding of medical terminology related to imaging procedures.
