This contract position spans 16 weeks, offering 36 hours per week in a vital department dedicated to the care of critically ill newborns. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are eligible for a local pay rate. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active and clear RN license Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP Proficiency in EPIC charting system Responsibilities and Duties: Provide expert nursing care for neonates in the NICU, adhering to departmental protocols Monitor and assess the health status of infants, responding promptly to critical changes Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement and update individualized care plans Maintain accurate documentation and chart clinical information using EPIC software Uphold infection control and safety standards within the unit Location Insight:Auburn, NY, is a welcoming community known for its rich history and accessible healthcare services.
