Cafe Mado is seeking experienced, passionate, and professional Assistant Servers to join our team as we prepare to open our garden for the spring and summer season. Cafe Mado is a restaurant from Michelin-starred Redwood Hospitality, the group behind Oxalis, Place des Fêtes, and Golden Ratio. Located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Cafe Mado offers seated brunch and dinner service rooted in seasonal cooking, thoughtful hospitality, and a vibrant neighborhood atmosphere. As the weather warms, service expands into our back garden, which becomes a lively extension of the dining room. We are looking for individuals who take pride in creating genuine connections with guests and who are excited to help contribute to memorable dining experiences. Our service style is warm, professional, and detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and hospitality. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, full-service environment and be excited about food, wine, and seasonal cooking. Positions will include brunch and dinner service, both indoors and outdoors in our garden. The Assistant Server role is vital to the success of our dining room. Assistant Servers work closely with the server team and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities include food running, resetting tables, polishing glassware and silverware, maintaining service stations, stocking the kitchen with plates and service items, and helping maintain clear communication between the dining room and kitchen throughout service.
