Local Team Collaboration: We take pride in our well-established team at Texas Health Plano At Texas Health Plano, our strong collaborative team includes board-certified critical care physicians and acute care trained advanced practice providers Qualifications: Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted license Prior ICU APP practice time - minimum of 3-years post training practice Active Texas license Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and arterial lines Authorized to work in the United States Scheduling: PRN- No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on the program need Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical / surgical /cardiac / neuro ICU patients Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team Commit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patients Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tubes EMR is Epic Living and Working in Plano: Ranked the most affluent city in the nation and home to numerous top companies, Plano features dining, shopping, and outdoor activities.
