Seasonal Apprentice Operator The City of Lee's Summit is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Seasonal Apprentice Operator in the Public Works Operations Department. This seasonal position is intended to allow work up to 39 hours per week from mid-May through August. Description of duties: Seasonal Apprentice Operator is a temporary summer position in construction and maintenance of city infrastructure. Seasonal Apprentice Operators duties will include: Mowing, weed spraying, litter removal Rights of way maintenance Street maintenance Stormwater maintenance Work zone flagging Requirements: High School Diploma Valid Drivers License Experience is welcome, but not necessary Supplemental Information: Competitive pay of $21 per hour Employee may work up to 39 hours per week Work hours are 7a.m. 3:30 p.m. Monday Friday All necessary training is provided Positive and safe working environment You can make a difference in the community
