Well-established obstetrics and gynecology group with over 75 years of service to the New Haven community is looking to add 1-2 OBGYN physicians and possibly an additional APRN to their group. This practice is in Central Connecticut, 10 minutes from New Haven and less than half an hour from Hartford. The practice is in a university town, which offers cultural and educational opportunities and is situated along the CT River. This busy practice with 6 OBGYN physicians and 2 APPs offers a well-established, growing patient population, a good mix of OB and GYN, and a good balance of work and family. The group sees between 20 and 30 patients daily, and they average about 300 deliveries annually. They do a lot of office GYN, MIGS, and some of the physicians are DaVinci certified. Their brand-new, beautiful office can offer "one-stop shopping" for their patients, with an in-house Lab, operating suite with on-site anesthesia services, U/S with 2 techs, and Mammography services. They have a main fully equipped state-of-the-art office close to the hospital campus and a satellite office about 20 minutes away, which the DRs rotate through 2-3 times monthly. Both offices have EMR. The office is open Monday through Saturday, and the physician who is on weekend call covers the office on Saturday morning, 9-12:30. Call will be shared 1/6-1/7. They are looking for a strong candidate with ties to the area who exemplifies dedication and caring to their patients and to this specialty.
