You will be collaborating with a managing psychiatrist to provide consistent and quality treatment for patients.ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)Perform complete initial psychiatric assessments/evaluations and determine diagnosis and treatment plan.Provide follow up care and consultations to patients.Prescribe medications and collaborates with the supervising psychiatrist in case managementUtilize specific electronic medical record system and other digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in patient record documentation and management.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements for this position:1 year Experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerAdditional experience in a private practice facility is desirableAn unconditional license (also known as a license without restriction) to practice medicine in AlabamaRegistration with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to prescribe controlled substances without sanction, restriction or limitation.Current CPR certification is required
