Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) to fill a Full Time opening that will be supporting Novus Neurology and Psychiatry. Total compensation ranges between $100,000 - $135,000 (depending on experience), including: sign-on bonus, and opportunities for paid training/advancement if desired. You will be collaborating with a managing psychiatrist to provide consistent and quality treatment for patients.ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)Perform complete initial psychiatric assessments/evaluations and determine diagnosis and treatment plan.Provide follow up care and consultations to patients.Prescribe medications and collaborates with the supervising psychiatrist in case managementUtilize specific electronic medical record system and other digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in patient record documentation and management.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements for this position:1 year Experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerAdditional experience in a private practice facility is desirableAn unconditional license (also known as a license without restriction) to practice medicine in AlabamaRegistration with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to prescribe controlled substances without sanction, restriction or limitation.Current CPR certification is required
