This is a wakeful shiftyou must remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift to ensure safety and comfort. Shift Details Hours: NOCS 11:00 PM to 8:00 or 9:00 AM Location: Santa Barbara, CA Client Needs: Gentle assistance, medication reminders, mobility support, and overnight monitoring Ideal Candidate Has experience with Parkinson's or similar conditions Is calm, patient, and observant Can stay awake and engaged throughout the night Communicates clearly and professionally Responsibilities: Punctual arrival to assigned shifts, and timely response to communications Accurate time keeping via secure website Adhere to clients plan of care and BrightStar Care Core Values Document tasks and complete written summary of your client's condition, electronically Prompt reporting of falls, emergencies, etc. Maintain client privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines Requirements: Of hands-on care experience, including toileting, and personal hygiene Must be 18yrs of age or older Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Valid Driver's License and Insured, Reliable vehicle Willingness and ability to register with the Home Care Aid Registry Approved Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), or the ability to complete registration prior to hire.
