Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Material Handler jobs in Glenwood, IL. These Material Handler jobs are temp-to-hire opportunities that require candidates to receive and issue inventory, conduct cycle counts, and ensure timely deliveries to designated drop points within a warehouse environment. LOCATION: Glenwood, IL TITLE: Material Handler SHIFT: M-F, 7am-5pm PAY: $17/hr Responsibilities for Material Handler jobs include but are not limited to: Unload incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders. Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies. Accurately record receipts in the ERP system. Pick and issue materials to production or other departments as requested. Ensure proper documentation and system transactions for all inventory movements in the ERP system. Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and efficiently. Deliver materials to designated drop points within the facility according to schedule. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation. Maintain accurate inventory levels using kanban cards and other visual management tools. Enter all material transactions, receipts, and issues into the ERP system promptly and accurately. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Material Handler jobs: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred. Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles (must have or obtain certification). Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
