Description Description: Operate machines such as CNC and/or manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and gear cutting machines depending on expertise on specific equipment. Set up machine as appropriate to machine specifications. Operate machines according to processes provided in the manufacturing of components. Use and interpret precision measuring instruments/gauges such as micrometers and calipers Any other duties assigned by Management Position Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to read orders and work instructions Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings Must have mechanical skills Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment and must be able to bend and lift Walking, standing, lifting, stooping, reaching Physical demand to make setup and perform machining operations May work in tight and/or cramped spaces Some lifting of various weights, both assisted and unassisted Use cranes or other device for heavy lifting Must be able to obtain Security Clearance. Preferred Additional Skills: 2+ Years of experience in machining Familiar with face milling, reaming, boring, and line boring (specific to Milling) Familiar with steady rest and tailstock (specific to Turning) Ability to read and edit programs using Fagor or Fanuc controls Familiar with G-Code Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt EOE Statement RENK America is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
