Connect Staffing is hiring a Packer for a plastics manufacturing company in Ontario, CA. This is a temp-to-hire day shift position paying $17.00/hr. In this role, you will pull, pack, weigh, and label plastic bags based on daily orders, inspecting items for defects before packaging. Overtime may be required based on production needs. Pay: $17.00/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Location: Ontario, CA Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Primary workplace language(s): English / Spanish Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Follow shipping documents and production schedules to fulfill daily packing orders for plastic products. Ensure all products are clean, properly packaged, and sealed per production standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area following facility protocols. Read and interpret written work instructions, labels, and shipping documents. Communicate defects and production issues to line supervisors. Minimum Requirements 6 months of general labor, packing, or production experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a plastics, packaging, or light manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality inspection or defect identification on a production line. Ability to read and follow shipping documents, work orders, or production schedules. Experience maintaining a clean and organized work station in a regulated or clean-room environment. Comfortable working at a consistent pace on a production or assembly line. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
