Job Description

Rubbercraft is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 (2nd Shift) to support inspection activities and ensure product quality in accordance with company and customer requirements. This is an entry-level role responsible for performing basic inspection tasks while developing foundational knowledge of inspection methods, blueprint reading, and measurement tools. This position will support the Quality Management System and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and positive customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Perform basic receiving, in-process, and final inspections under supervision Inspect materials and components using standard inspection tools and equipment Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and inspection instructions with guidance Assist in reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy Support First Article Inspection activities as needed Accurately record inspection results and maintain documentation Identify and report nonconforming materials to appropriate personnel Maintain a clean and organized work area Support team members and cross-functional partners to meet quality and production goals Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment preferred Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications (or willingness to learn) Familiarity with standard inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) preferred Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Additional Requirements Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and operate inspection equipment Benefits: At Rubbercraft, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
