Warehouse Pick Packer Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented warehouse packers in Victor, IA to join a team in a temp-to-hire role. In this position, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders according to customer specifications. This includes preparing packaging, labeling shipments, inspecting materials, and ensuring products are safely secured to prevent damage during transit. Apply now! Warehouse pick packer responsibilities: Pick parts from warehouse inventory and prepare orders for shipment Pack, label and palletize products according to company and customer requirements Assemble packaging materials such as boxes and crates Ensure all items are packaged securely to minimize damage during transit Inspect packaging and products for defects such as tears, cracks, or dents Determine the safest and most efficient way to stack and secure items on pallets Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment Remove empty pallets, shrink wrap and cardboard from work areas Communicate any issues with supervisors, quality personnel or management Requirements for warehouse pick packer: Ability to read and understand packing slips and shipping documents Ability to lift and/or move 1035 lbs regularly (team lift required for heavier items) Strong attention to detail; ability to identify and hold questionable parts Forklift experience preferred (training available) Basic computer skills preferred Strong communication skills Good organizational and time management abilities Ability to work at a consistent, productive pace Ability to multitask and problem solve effectively Team-oriented mindset Reliable attendance and punctuality required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
