St. Josephs Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner RFNA or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient orthopedic surgery team in Syracuse, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of hospital employed orthopedic surgeons and PAs in a hospital-based setting, providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.  Position Highlights:  First assist in surgical procedures Inpatient management of orthopedic surgery patients  Pre- and post-operative assessments, rounding, discharge planning  Collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams  Supportive and collegial environment  Schedule:  Full-time, varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed  Call Requirements: 3-4 nights unrestricted call per month  Qualifications: NYS licensure as NP (RFNA) or PA  DEA certification  ACLS/BLS certification  Experience in orthopedic or surgical inpatient care preferred  New grads will not be considered at this time Compensation & Benefits:  Base Salary: $145,000-$206,000 The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
