Job Family Maintenance Discipline Site Services Infrastructure Career Level O1 Salary Range $33.06/hour Note for Salary This is the starting salary for this position. This position offers biannual pay increases for employees that are satisfactorily progressing towards qualification, meeting the company's expectations and standards, and adhering to workplace policies. The maximum pay rate is typically achieved at the career level within two to three years. Job Family Description Maintenance/production personnel support the operational success of nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, buildings, systems, and shops. Professionals in these roles are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of equipment, machinery, and production processes to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. Discipline Description Professionals in site services infrastructure provide various support functions to manage and maintain the physical facilities and systems that support operations. They provide operations and maintenance for site utility systems (steam, electrical, sanitary wastewater, fire water, domestic water, process water, etc.) roads, bridges, lakes, dams, outfalls, and railways. They perform fire systems operations, maintenance, and testing, and ventilation and HEPA filter testing. They supply and maintain Site Leased Portable Equipment. They perform Crane and Rigging support and oversight of the Site Hoisting and Rigging Program, railroad operations and maintenance, site fleet and fuel management services, transportation services, ground maintenance and herbicide, trucking, and waste removal. Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: Work from standard and special procedures and supervisory direction. Perform administrative functions such as completing procedures, using copier, completing store orders, performing safety observations and procedural audits and other administrative duties as assigned by supervision or as necessary to complete job. Unload hazardous and/or essential materials. Assist power operators with general duties and perform manual labor work as required. Attend classroom or on-the-job training as directed. Other duties as assigned by supervision. Operate equipment such as conveyors, hoppers, feeders, transfer chutes and hand tools. Normally work outdoors. Will be required to work in/around coal dust, dirt, wetness, oil/grease fumes, noise and extreme weather conditions. Will be required to wear goggles, hard hats, safety shoes, work gloves, coveralls, face shields safety glasses and respiratory equipment. Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. May be required to complete RAD 1 Training and perform task-specific duties. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. May be required to obtain required State Licenses to operate equipment. Example: Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment and Biological Wastewater Treatment license, and Water Treatment and Water Distribution license.
