Assembly and Tooling Technician - Production Grinder PrideStaff is actively recruiting for individuals who have hands-on experience with fabrication and assembly of mechanical parts. Individuals that are mechanically inclined, are comfortable with hand tools, are detail-oriented, have experience working with various materials, are easily trainable and can follow Standard Operation Procedures and processes should apply immediately and contact PrideStaff at 916-757-6100 to learn more! This position is full-time, morning shift 7:30-4:30 pm Monday through Friday and is located in the North Sacramento area. Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assemble parts according to engineering drawings. Clean units and associated parts Assemble heat exchanger shims. Assist engineers and welders as needed. Grind or sand parts Spot welding Use of hand and power tools. Environment and job requires that individuals be comfortable on their feet for the duration of the shift, standing on concrete flooring for most or all of the time. Associates are also responsible to: Keep work areas clean and organized. Assist other departments as needed. Diligently follow all QMS policies, complete required documentation, and input required data into ERP system. PrideStaff Associates must meet the following requirements: Must be over 18 years of age and have proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
