Our technicians can (and do) a little bit of everything. Using a variety of skills from plumbing to electrical and everything in between, you'll be part of the final assembly team responsible for bringing JST designs to life.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a member of our Systems Assembly Department, you'll: Accurately interpret engineering drawings and perform plumbing, wiring, and assembly to meet functionality and specification requirements. Utilize a computer and shop floor control software to accurately track job labor and material usage. Troubleshoot components at startup and maintain a low failure rate. Competently use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices while contributing to JST's quality program by following established procedures. Understand and follow company safety and manufacturing procedures. Maintain stewardship of equipment and contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of the shop. Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments. TRANSFERRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCEWe're looking for candidates with experience such as: Mechanical skills working on complex systems (e.g., automotive mechanics, HVAC systems, diesel mechanics, etc.) Electrical and plumbing knowledge Mechanical maintenance experience.
