We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to support our growing group practice in Gadsden, Alabama!Role OverviewSchedule: Part-time, 1 day per week, Monday through FridaySetting: Provide patient care in skilled nursing facilities by conducting rounds in short-term unitsDocumentation: Complete documentation remotely within 48 hours of patient visits using a TeamHealth-provided iPad or laptopKey ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disordersPrescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with state and federal regulationsCollaborate with interdisciplinary facility staff to enhance patient outcomesEnsure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentationRequirementsActive PMHNP licenseActive Alabama APRN licenseActive DEA registrationMinimum 6 months of PMHNP experienceLocal candidates preferredExperience in healthcare or long-term care settings preferred, but not requiredCompensation is fee for service (FFS).
