Position Summary The General Superintendent is responsible for overall field operations across multiple construction projects or a large, complex project. This role provides leadership to superintendents and field staff, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with quality standards and company objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee field operations for multiple projects or a major construction program Lead, mentor, and coordinate project superintendents and field teams Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations Develop and enforce project schedules in coordination with project management Monitor daily site activities to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to plans Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field logistics across projects Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays proactively Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits Collaborate with project managers on budgets, cost control, and resource allocation Participate in preconstruction planning, including constructability reviews and sequencing Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and local authorities Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and project closeout procedures
