Job Description Summary As a Production Worker, you will work on the manufacturing line, ensuring that products are produced, inspected, and packaged in accordance with food safety and quality standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities Machine Operation: Operating equipment like mixers, ovens, and packaging machinery (e.g., wrappers, palletizers) to produce pancakes or waffles. Packing and Shipping: Placing finished products into boxes, packaging, and preparing them for shipment, particularly on 12-hour shifts. Quality Inspection: Monitoring product quality, such as inspecting batter, texture, color, and packaging seals, and removing defective products from the line. Sanitation and Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and performing basic maintenance on machines to prevent downtime. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all food safety standards (HACCP) and safety procedures (PPE). Requirements & Qualifications Physical Stamina: The job often requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) for 8-12 hour shifts. Work Environment: The environment is often cold, fast-paced, and loud, typically requiring work in a manufacturing or freezer setting. Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, weekends, and varied shifts (day or night). Experience: Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is highly preferred, but not always required. Production Roles Packer/Inspector: Inspects finished products, packs them, and ensures quality standards are met. Machine Operator: Manages the mixing, cooking, or wrapping machines. Sanitation Tech: Focuses specifically on cleaning production equipment and the facility.
