If this excites you, we are interested in hearing about your best work and accomplishments across any domain and from any points in your life.About the RoleAs a Flight Software Engineer you will design, develop, and deploy software flown onboard a fleet of novel low-Earth orbit spacecraft. You will engage with other software engineers, electrical engineers, and mission operations engineers to ensure flight software meets the needs of the mission throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesDevelop reliable autonomous software systems and the infrastructure to support rigorous testing and large-scale in-space deploymentOwn all aspects of development, including: concept design, implementation, testing, and releaseImplement software to support command and data handling, guidance navigation and control, and fault detection and isolationSupport on-orbit operations through continued development and over-the-air updatesMinimum QualificationsDemonstrated excellence working on a comparable software project3+ Years of C/C++ ExperienceIdeal QualificationsPrior experience developing flight software for spacecraft or similar high-reliability productsDevelopment experience on ARM microcontroller and embedded Linux platformsStrong skills in debugging, unit testing, and integrated flight software/day in the life testingStrong understanding of computer networkingExperience with fault-tolerant software design including watchdogs, voting logic, error correction codes, and fault detection and isolationExposure to industry software standards and best practices such as MISRA-C and JSFAbility to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with evolving needs and requirementEven if you don't meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you.
